We just discovered Berbere and it has quickly become a staple in our kitchen. We are so taken by this spice blend, we decided to share it.
Berbere is particularly delicious on our grilled and roasted Chicken, but we also use it on our Pork, roasted potatoes, in taco meat, chili, salsa and fish, just to name a few. It has the ability to round out the flavors when you’re looking for that one thing to finish a dish. Flavor is balanced & warm with a hint of spice. No particular ingredient dominates the blend. It’s perfect and we can’t cook without it!
