Join us at our farm for a hands-on, outdoor woodland experience.

Led by seasoned trailblazers Susannah and Laura Poeppel, kids will spend time in our woods learning all the basics of clearing and maintaining a trail through our woods.

We’ll talk about tree identification, invasive v. native trees and shrubs, basic forest maintenance and learn how to safely use basic trimming and cutting tools.  We’ll also make time for a short farm visit some of the animals on the farm  including chickens, beef cattle and 12 new young pigs!

Kids are encouraged to get involved and should wear old clothes and shoes/boots, gloves and bring a water bottle.
