YF pork comes from the Idaho Pasture Pig, a recently registered breed that is known for it’s friendly temperament, great mothering abilities, and gourmet meat quality.
This is a slower growing pig with great foraging abilities, which results in meat that is rich, tender, and well marbled. The fat can be described as “buttery,” and is a great source of Omega-3 fatty acids.
