Growing plants from seed can be difficult and sometimes frustrating causing potential gardeners to give up. We can help!
Join us for a seed starting workshop to kick off your gardening season right!
We’ll cover all the steps needed to start vegetable, herb and flower seeds both indoors and out including seed choices, germination temperatures, preparing seed starting mix, indoor growing, thinning and transplanting young seedlings, watering and acclimating young seedlings from indoors to outside. We’ll provide all materials needed and you will go home with seeds started so you can get growing.
Our goal is to share our pitfalls, successes and experiences so you can go from seeds to healthy homegrown food and flowers.
Preregistration is required and can be made by adding the number of attendees to the cart and proceeding with contact information. In the event of weather or other factors, we will contact by phone/email prior to the event.
Growing your own plants is good for your health, good for the planet and is a great learning tool for kids.
Hope to see you at the farm!
